FareMeter - AUD currently has 3 different release versions; core, beta and donation. Functionality is first released in Beta. Once the functionality is stable it is released into the donation version. Once the donation version is upgraded with new functionality the core release is updated. The core release is always 2 versions after Beta.
The core release features is the most stable release and all core functionality is thoroughly tested and released. Essentially all functionality is proven with very minor bugs and perhaps some phones may not be supported. The core version will be add supported in future releases. The core release is currently unsupported but bugs will be fixed with a lower priority. The core version is ALWAYS one release behind the donation version.
The donation release is partially supported and defects found by end users get priority fixes. The donation version is as stable release from Beta to donation. Users who use the donation version are free to request features and will receive a response regarding the request. The donation release is the latest stable release of FareMeter - AUD.
The beta release is experimental functionality released to end-users. Often this release will be tested by the end-user to ensure more phones are compatible. In this release bugs may be encountered and can be reported back to the developer directly using the applications menu.
